Yesteryear Collection



In 1905 BEN – The Motor & Cycle Trades Benevolent Fund – was founded to help and care for those members and their families who were suffering distress as a result of illness, disability, unemployment of other misfortune.
Today, BEN assists over 1000 needy men, women and children living in their own home throughout the British Isles and runs three residential centres – Lynwood near Ascot; Alexandra House, Southport; and Birch Hill near Berwick-upon-Tweed – to care for over 250 disabled and elderly men and women requiring a comfortable and secure home.
